Remember: anyone who doesn't want to lick daddy Stalin's bloody boot (and thank him for the privilege) is an actual Nazi, no exceptions.

Only if you listen to people from lemmygrad or hexbear.

That’s be your first mistake

[-] vlad76@lemmy.sdf.org 7 points 10 months ago

Which no one should ever do.

They're trying to tell me that World, the instance frothing at the mouth to hate that notorious right wing populist Trump, are Nazis? Guess we shouldn't pay attention to the actual Nazis tattooing the letter Z on their faces

Anything to fuel their persecution/hero complex, eh? Can't just do some good (however they might define that). It's gotta be a war.

There was a guy who says Lemmy.world are antisemites because they banned him for being a hateful troll.

This seems to be basically the same thing, just a different person doing it. They're saying that Lemmy.world are Nazis because they were defederated by them for their spam, hostility, and trolling and they are upset about it.

Did they draw or AI this up or is this just some degen anime with nazi and soviet waifus they're using for the meme template?

[-] yeather@lemmy.ca 9 points 10 months ago

More than likely the latter. The symbols are too clear and the hands are too good for this to be 100% ai.

n*zism opposes communism and vice-versa but both are pretty bad ideologies

[-] Titou@sh.itjust.works 2 points 3 months ago

Didn't they suddenly decided to defederate with piracy communities without asking their community first ? Seems like what a modern mustache man could have done(i hope i didn't hurted the "free speech" defender's feelings by simply asking a question).

[-] sarmale@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 months ago

Yeah they did, and that's why I don't advise anyone to make an account there, from that and nazi there is still a long way though

It's a common behavior on lemmy actually.

Documenting hate speech, conspiracy theories, apologia/revisionism, and general tankie behaviour across the fediverse. Memes are welcome!

What is a Tankie?

Alternatively, a detailed blog post about Tankies.

(caution of biased source)

Basic Rules:

Sh.itjust.works Instance rules apply! If you are from other instances, please be mindful of the rules. — Basically, don't be a dick.

Hate-Speech — You should be familiar with this one already; practically all instances have the same rules on hate speech.

Apologia(Using the Modern terminology for Apologia) No Defending, Denying, Justifying, Bolstering, or Differentiating authoritarian acts or endeavours, whether be a Pro-CCP viewpoint, Stalinism, Islamic Terrorism or any variation of Tankie Ideology.

Revisionism — No downplaying or denying atrocities past and present. Calling Tankies shills, foreign/federal agents, or bots also falls under this rule. Extremists exist. They are real. Do not call them shills or fake users as it handwaves their extremism.

Tankies can explain their views but may be criticised or attacked for them. Any slight infraction on the rules above will immediately earn a warning and possibly a ban.

Off-topic Discussion — Do not discuss unrelated topics to the point of derailing the thread. Stay focused on the direct content of the post as opposed to arguing.

You'll be warned if you're violating the instance and community rules. Continuing poor behaviour after being warned will result in a ban or removal of your comments. Bans typically only last 24 hours, but each subsequent infraction will double the amount. Depending on the content, the ban time may be increased. You may request an unban at any time.
