It's pride weekend, in going to vend punk patches, and I'm gonna call my dad on Father's Day. I love my dad a lot!

A watch party with friends. We've been watching Vinland Saga, which I've already seen, but still looking forward to rewatching it and seeing my friends' reactions. Such a great show.

It's historical fiction centred on Viking invasion of England in 11th century. Though I must warn you it deals with very heavy topics such as war and slavery without sugarcoating them. Trauma, gore, grief and abuse will be on screen fairly frequently, so take that into account to decide if you want to give it a go.

The storytelling and characters are masterfully done, though, and the main message it tries to send is one simple yet profound: "You don't have enemies. Nobody has any enemies. Violence for any reason is wrong".

I don't necessarily agree with it 100%, but it's a beautiful ideal to strive for nevertheless.

We harvested a rather large batch of kumquat, and this weekend I'm going to make preserves out of them. First time I make a new recipe is always nice.

Oh wow! I've never even seen kumquat preserve so I'm deffo interested in that. What does it taste like?

Really sweet, sour, and aromatic, all three things combined. Really great IMO, specially to squeeze the fruit over some bread. But it's my first time preparing it, so it might turn out different than the one I bought.

If it turns out good I'll probably do something similar with lemons in the future. …well, once my lemon tree starts yielding fruit. (I think it'll still take some years for that, the tree is rather young.)

My wife's goddaughter's graduation is this weekend. Her parents are loaded so I'm getting free good drinks. Bottomless Eagle Rare here I come.

Sunday roadhouse breakfast with the missus.

Father’s Day and my baby momma is buying me a swanky round of golf! Sounds boring if you’re not a golfer, but I’m sure excited.

Being able to stay in the coldest room in the apartment instead of sweating my ass off.

I’m feeling stressed about it, unfortunately. Work to do. People to tolerate. Visiting Republicans.
