This is really a case of clown to clown communication. Putting aside the fact that Hasan is indeed trying to sheepdog young people back into a bourgeois party, there's something ironic about Bad Empanada smugly calling him out on his supposed "anti-imperialism" when he himself has a history of being a tool for the empire as well. Like when he claimed China is doing a genocide. Even a lib like Hasan has a better position on China.

But if Bad Empanada thinks he's terrible, perhaps he's worth watching, actually.
Bad Empanada's opinions and analysis are consistently awful, so if he's strongly anti-Hasan, maybe there's something worthwhile about Hasan after all.
