This reads like an ad for another forgettable dating app.

[–] halcyoncmdr@piefed.social 15 points 1 week ago (1 children)

More like the dating app 99.9% of people will never have the chance to use. Invite only, limited to the rich and famous. So spending any time thinking about it would just be a waste. Spend that time doing something you enjoy instead.

That sounds thoroughly awful.

I can see the appeal. If you're rich and/or famous, you never know if anyone interested is just looking for fame or money. This, at least on the surface, would seem to reduce that since the other users would already be in a similar position.

Okay but this is obviously satire right?

[–] compostgoblin@piefed.blahaj.zone 15 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Nope. Comments were full of agreement. LinkedIn is a wild place

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 14 points 1 week ago

The comments agreeing with it doesn't mean it wasn't meant to be satirical. It could just mean the comments don't get satire.

Jesus Christ....

Sometimes it does feel like my head is just for decoration. And I'm a shitty decorator to boot.

I loathe people who make car modifications where the sole purpose is to make shit loud. Completely inconsiderate.

Is that Nathan Fielder in the chat?

That would certainly explain why it’s “Dumb RAYA”, a registered trademark evading parody brand.

Hmm, you need to be a virgin to get near a unicorn, and you also need it to become a wizard. Interesting theme going on here.

I want to preserve this dude's brain and display is beside Einstein. just as a demo that we can have very similar brains, but we can all be dumb as fuck or geniuses.

I think if you are working 14 hour days you don't know how to manage people properly or don't have the resources to manage them properly (because you can't afford staff)
