Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. I personally think it's more disturbing how the only time he can stay awake is when grown adults line up to praise him to trade their most creative sychophantic fantasies in for real world power points in the Republican party, but I guess whatever it takes.

[–] Blibly@lemmy.world 16 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Hey that's not true! He also woke up to talk shit about trans women and then fell back asleep.

[–] whyNotSquirrel@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

then fell back to sleep

but not before shitting his pants!

[–] Nurgus@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Come on don't be disrespectful. I'm sure he can do that while sleeping.

[–] RunningInRVA@lemmy.world 71 points 2 weeks ago (5 children)

Why can’t he just stroke out already.

[–] radiofreebc@lemmy.world 48 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Because only the good die young.

[–] First_Thunder@lemmy.zip 18 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

[–] radiofreebc@lemmy.world 17 points 2 weeks ago

I didn't say ALL the good die young.

He did try to steal all the air of planet Druidia.

[–] WindyRebel@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

On one hand, yes. On the other hand? He gave Lonestar the upside of the Schwartz and allowed him to learn that he’s a bonafide prince!

[–] zebidiah@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 weeks ago

It's good to be the king

[–] billwashere@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

How many times are politicians going to call for the 25th and then do nothing to enact it? Either shit or get off the pot.

[–] some_designer_dude@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

For as long as merely suggesting someone does something about it continues to satiate the American people’s appetite for justice. I guess.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 1 points 2 weeks ago

The only one that can call for the 25th Amendment is JD Vance, and he ain't gonna do it, so everybody calm the fuck down. It's never going to happen. Trump could stroke out, his tongue lolling, drooling all over his red tie, and they'd still wheel him around, and get really pissed if anyone even suggested that he wasnt in full control of his faculties.

[–] SarcasticMan@lemmy.world 46 points 2 weeks ago

trump, 79, Triggers Fake 25th Amendment Calls Absolutly No One Will Do Anything About Because They Are All Cowards With Sleepy Oval Office Slump. FTFY

[–] AmbientDread@piefed.social 41 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Wake me up when the people that can actually do something about this mess do something about this mess.

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 24 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

The only person who can start the 25th Amendment process is J.D. Vance so, um... yeah.

Maybe if somebody offers him a really NICE couch?

This is the only time I have hoped a picture was LLM slop.....

[–] stringere@sh.itjust.works 17 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Do not attribute to slop what could simply be incredibly bad design. Let bad designers still claim credit for their abominations and crimes against humanity.

[–] Dr_Fetus_Jackson@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Agreed. Bad design is a art form unto itself and should be celebrated. Especially when we can use it against these cunts.

[–] stringere@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

In case you didn't know about them:

Might have flipped the names in all my tabbing around on mobile.

Tin foil hat theory? They are waiting until 2027 to 25th him. If they wait until then Vance would serve less than 2 years and be able to run in the next 2 elections.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

He's about as likeable as Ted Cruz, most likely less. Why would they want him running, I wonder?

Sure, right now he might top their hypothetical polls, but wait until they see this dingus on the usual rounds.

Say what you want about Pumpkinhead, he seems to be liked by a certain kind of person. "JD" "Vance" seems so awkward and weird...do people see others showing up this weird guy's rallies? Wearing "JD" gear?

Once Dozey Don is out of the picture, there will be no hiding for this guy and I doubt even the teabagging bircher magamushferbrainz are going to be wild about him.

[–] bus_factor@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

I'm not even sure they want Vance to run again. But they definitely don't want to 25th Trump before the midterms.

Trumps cult was ready to hang the last vp for less. Maybe that keeps him in line.

[–] ButtermilkBiscuit@feddit.nl 18 points 2 weeks ago (8 children)

They should stop letting this sleepy fat pedophile sit down for these press events. Just stand up. I mean he keeps saying he's in perfect health, ok then stand up for 10 minutes so you don't fall asleep. Shouldn't be a problem, right?

I'm waiting for a journalist to nail him the next time he says Sleepy Joe: "You call him Sleepy Joe, but there are countless videos of you sleeping during meetings, often when your lackeys are speaking directly to you. There are no videos of Biden sleeping. Why shouldn't the American people be as concerned about your sleeping, as you are about Biden?"

Then let him rant for a while.

[–] Bogus007@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 weeks ago

I worry you won’t see this journalist again. ICE … something something … ICE.

I watched an episode of Veep today where the vice president's staff was panicking that she nodded off at a senate meeting. This aired in 2012

[–] bedwyr@piefed.ca 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I am sorry, this is something akin to clickbait trash.

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 3 points 2 weeks ago

Shhh... let us enjoy The National Equirer

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 3 points 2 weeks ago

I remember that one from my youth, "The Boys Who Cried 25th Amendment".

[–] o0evillusion0o@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 weeks ago

Dreaming about the TRUMP-EPSTEIN (TM) files, no doubt. Oh, the good times 🤤

[–] grimpy@lemmy.myserv.one 2 points 2 weeks ago

Trump slump affects the “man” himself!
