Well if you have beef with them he can jerk it.

As a disabled person, having to live on welfare sucks (alongside nation-wide disability benefits). Whenever someone asks what you do for a living, you can't answer the question without looking like complete white trash.

Claim to be an aristocrat and refuse to elaborate further.

[–] athatet@lemmy.zip 1 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Yea exactly. Say that you’re eccentric.

Anyone who asks, tell them you're retired. Retired is considered classy across all demographics. For all intents & purposes you truly are retired.

[–] PlanchettePhantom@lemmy.world 0 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I'll use that when I'm older (I'm too yougn for that to be believable).

[–] JennaR8r@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Retired doesn't always mean old. Anybody who has enough money to live the rest of their life without working is technically retired.

[–] PlanchettePhantom@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

To be fair, nobody my age is rich, especially not in my region. Plus, they'll ask what I'm retired from.

Hey I'll give it one more shot to remind you that you are a valuable person with inherent worth, and you deserve to walk through life with self-respect and confidence. You did nothing wrong to be in the position you are in. Walk with your head held high and present yourself with the respect you deserve. All us healthy people are suffering every day waking up and dragging our asses to jobs we don't want to be at just to earn as much money as you are doing nothing, so although you're not feeling physically well, you are living the dream, money automatically deposited into your bank account every month while the rest of us have to be literal slaves, breaking down our spirits & our bodies & our minds working soul-sucking jobs to barely eke out survival.

The lottery is also an option, with a similar chance of success.

[–] Not_mikey@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 6 days ago

You could also be a crypto millionaire, same amount of luck required.

[–] mumblerfish@lemmy.world 1 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Or a far right influencer would also fit the bill.

That's usually not "mysterious", though. They'll tell you.

A rock themed mysterious income would be fun like not geology or anything bigger just rocks from the ground
