It's possible to set a max number of SMS sent with qksms, other foss app or at system level? Thanks

System level = root. So no.

And couldnt find an app on F-Droid for that, S2MSP is probably very different to what you want

Depends on the OS you're using. Most custom ROMs based on LineageOS have this kind of setting: Settings > Privacy > Trust > SMS message limit.

not on custom rom, almost stock release (it's a Motorola smartphone)
