The Art Alchemist's Guild
Good day and welcome to The Art Alchemist's Guild.
This is a dark place.
Most art will leave you feeling inspired, maybe even joyful — if not a little thoughtful. Not this art.
Most art makes people better, but this place can only make you worse, poorer, stained, and consumed by the craft.
All flavors are welcome to:
- Show off finished pieces
- Share your hand made or foraged materials
- Ask for advice on anything art related
- Share articles and how-tos
- Post art memes
- Participate in weekly discussions and monthly challenges
- Promote Free Workshops and Resources
Be kind
Do onto others with kindness, curiosity and civility.

There's a hole in it.
That's the witches arsehole.
You really are the most devious bastard in new york city.
Love it
Love the look!
Definitely cool. Especially when breeze goes through the burlap window, which would be pleasant on a hot afternoon.
Might want to reinforce with willow to absorb the impact of falling farmhouses. And/or add a pocket for a flask. <} ;-)
I need to add pockets to all my adds. Great idea.
Unfortunately not a window, behind it is more wool. Wool thick enough to double as fall protection equipment and keep me warm in a blizzard.
It's gorgeous in an unsettling kind of way, just the kind of crone aesthetic I go for these days. May I kindly ask to be permitted to steal this way of working with felt and burlap? I've been doing wet felting on and off throughout my life and haven't tried this technique yet.
The sorting hat after meth?
Excellent description.
I like it, but I think it needs a something like a "leafy" hat band.
True, that's a good idea.
