As far as I call tell this is fake. The font for the title is called Nunito, which isn't one used by Google for their UI. Could imagine it as real quite soon tho.

much thanks to @gary_host_laptop for the logo design :)
Thank you, I appreciate you checking this (also hats off for the font identification)
Let's not spread fake outrage, we are not yet at a point where this is real, but you can expect this image will spread like wildfire anywhere that folks are concerned about this kind of thing, and it its just going to increase people's anxiety over something that isnt real
It was a total fluke, I'm not like some genious 😅 A few years ago I used nunito for a website I made so my brain lit up like a christmas tree when I saw it
Lol, thats fair, you still get credit! I used to love Google's design work (durring the early material design days) so I was once familiar with their fonts and stuff, and it's cool for you to have been able to catch that by the font
Hope you have a good one ☺️
Unfortunately I can verify this is real. This is now required for people who use google voice - you will get a pop up saying it's required for calling and messaging
Where?
Also it will probably fail with the first few tries and have you try different documents... Just to have as many copies of your personal ID as possible
where were you that google asked that, thats a new screen for me.
The only time dickpics are okay.
In what context did Google ask for ID!?!! I've never seen that before (edit: spelling)
