Kind of stuck with Discord for the moment, but I've just been using a separate Firefox profile dedicated to the service. It's nice seeing multiple accounts at once and having easy access to extensions.
Fluxer.app seems to be the alternative that's gaining ground.
With European governments bucking Windows, sure, it's likely to have some growth.
Huge advertisement for linux. Discord joining steam in open support for linux will bring quite a few people over.
