What could possibly go wrong?
Noise? Traffic? Parking? Endless construction? Corruption? Wasted investment? Climate change? Opportunity cost of not doing something more useful with waterfront property? All I know is Doug Ford's in favour of it, so it must be a bad idea.
If you read the context, I was thinking more like a jumbo jet flying into the CN tower.
I flew out of there last week. Best airport experience I’ve had in years. What is he smoking; did PP find Rob Ford’s secret stash?
So, we probably shouldn't do it, then. (Which means that Ford probably will.)
It's telling that Ford needs to go to Alberta to find support for his proposal.
The guy is obsessed with Toronto's waterfront. It's wild. I genuinely do not understand, even with all the corruption, the lengths he has gone to just to put every weird little project as close to the already congested downtown core as he can. Ontario Place is already nonsense, the idea of expanding Billy Bishop is just a money pit with no clear benefit.
You left out his gas plant expansion that he had to overrule the city for.
He thinks Toronto is his personal playground and he wants to see us suffer
Pearson is a disaster.
