Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. Electric vehicle sales in Latin America, Africa and much of Asia — a grouping that includes billions of people but that analysts often refer to as “rest of world” — soared 79 percent in March compared with a year earlier, according to Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, a research firm.
That rate of growth is astonishing. Many of these countries are now adopting electric driving much faster than "the west".
"The West" is a pretty bad category in this case. Germany had 66%, France 69% and Italy 72% growth in EV sales in the same period. The US saw a decline in sales though and from what was already a lower base.
Let us hope we don't end up with a Reform govt. in the UK. That would be disasterous for EV adoption in the UK
Being convinced to prefer a worse option to save egos and tribalism seems to me like something only the privileged can afford.
