Playing the Witcher 3 you hear quite often from NPCs "kings do the fighting, peasants do the dying"
Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.
Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

"Why don't presidents fight the war? / Why do they always send the poor?" - B.Y.O.B., System of a Down
It's a statement that's been told through generations of media and literature yet people still don't seem to grasp the point of it.
Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that all to the poor, yeah
War pigs, Black Sabbath
I guess that most people never heard it
& fuck politicians!
You do not become a successful politician by being a good person.

Expecting them to know who this is might be a bit of a push.
Whos that?
Cannot upvote this enough.
Sick of the dark ways we march to the drummin'/ Jump when they tell us that they wanna see jumpin'/ Fuck that, I wanna see some fists pumpin'/ Risk something, take back what's yours/ Say somethin' that you know they might attack you for/ 'Cause I'm sick of being treated like I have before/ Like it's stupid standin' for what I'm standin' for/ Like this war's really just a different brand of war/ Like it doesn't cater to rich and abandon poor/ Like they understand you in the back of the jet/ When you can't put gas in your tank/ These fuckers are laughin' their way to the bank and cashin' the check/ Askin' you to have compassion and have some respect
Do you see the soldiers that are out today?/ They brush the dust from bulletproof vests away/ It's ironic, at times like this, you'd pray/ But a bomb blew the mosque up yesterday/ There's bombs on the buses, bikes, roads/ Inside your market, your shops, your clothes/ My dad, he's got a lot of fear, I know/ But enough pride inside not to let that show/ My brother had a book he would hold with pride/ A little red cover with a broken spine/ On the back, he hand-wrote a quote inside/ "When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die"
Yup, Maduro, Saddam, Gaddafi, Khamenei senior, other Iranian leadership, Hezbollah's Nasrallah, and the Taliban's leadership never had their safety or lives on the line, just their people. This is a very deep thought and not at all just quirky lib humor we keep hearing on tv shows.
Hey real quick, who's the guy in this picture?

This is Yahya Sinwar, leader of Hamas, killed in action by the IDF in 2024
I dunno, that guy is masked up. Could be anyone
Yahya Sinwar. A hero
