Unfortunate. For a moment I believed we were on the precipice of a new era where GCC states will distance themselves from the US. Perhaps there's a subtext, a "or else".

at some point they're going to have to realize the US is just using them

I think tourism will be hit hard for years to come. Who wants to visit an area where a large scale war can be triggered by a vulgar and capricious state like Israel in a matter of hours?

Instead of setting up dollar swaps to deepen their ties to the US failstate, they should get in on BRICs, CIPS, and alternative trade settlement systems. These things exist and would gain a great deal of credibility if Gulf states joined.

Also they should kick out the US bases and thereby make their countries a lot safer.

Shut the fuck up with your logical rhetoric. It's well thought out and I find your premise entirely too realistic and you should be banned for making too much sense.

It's already gone up over 120, and it's only going to get worse because there's a physical shortage now. There's no way to make oil magically appear out of thin air. https://oilprice.com/Energy/Crude-Oil/Oil-Rallies-Toward-120-As-Middle-East-Supply-Risks-Spiral.html
