Warning: somewhat sappy monologue

We walked around a park and talked about The Society of the Spectacle by Guy Debord. It was mostly yapping, nothing of any importance but it was really nice. The weather was pleasant enough and the ducks were so cute. We watched the sun set on these beautiful rolling clouds in the West from a bridge over the water and discussed our current projects and problems. I liked hearing the birds as they spoke about their lives.

I wonder where all of them will end up. One of them is finishing his PhD. in computer chip architecture (or something like that idk how tech works) and I think he plans on moving back to India. I hope it goes well for him, he seems like he really cares about the world. Maybe I should get his name and see what he publishes in the future. Another is getting their degree in aerospace engineering and one of their designs will actually see space soon.

It's unfortunate I know so little about the rest of them. All of our meetings were focused on the books and shared jokes/complaints about the world. I wish I was more sociable and brave, I'd like to be able to remember more than just their politics.
