Sources say it will be slightly smaller, and pink.

To avoid scheduling conflicts in mixed use stadiums

I’m so hype for the new Denver stadium as well:

Globally only the NWSL side Kansas City, whose CPKC stadium opened in 2024, and Denver Summit, whose ground is being constructed with the aim of opening in 2028, have moved towards having purpose-built women’s team stadiums prior to Brighton’s announcement. Birmingham City have said they are planning to build a stadium for their women’s team on the site of their proposed “sports quarter” near to their proposed 62,000-seat men’s stadium.

The idea that Europe isn't interested in watching professional football players who are also Women play football in stadiums designed for women's sports doesn't really make sense to me but what the heck do I know. Why would that not be an extremely safe investment in terms of a sports stadium? How did it take until now? I don't say that from a high horse, I know there are similar imbalances in US professional women's sports too.

I don't know if any of you know women but some of them are very passionate about things and I can see a whole sports stadium focused on women being something they might get hyped about. Again, I am not exactly an expert on women but I somehow have a hunch here that this will be a success.

Everyone watches women's sports. Chelsea's in the middle of moving to Stamford Bridge because they outgrew their old stadium. The investment will absolutely show returns.
