  1. Plant the 15 parsnip seeds you get.
  2. Sell the seeds for 8 cauliflower seeds
  3. Do something else.

I'm #2. It takes longer, but I get more money out of it. While they grow, I fish, then mine on max luck days.

Plant them, chop wood to make a chest, and then fish to fill the chest.

15 parsnip seeds every single time. And then spend the day clearing out the awful mess in the yard until I'm ready to keel over and then putting it all in a chest.

Plant them, need one for the collection anyway.

I go all in on money for year one strawberries, and then use those profits for blueberries, and then use those profits for cranberries, and then realize I have planted too many cranberries, and deal with it, and have a ton of money in winter, and then realize I haven't accomplished anything else, and basically repeat year one just with a better focus on goals and more money

Plant seeds, forage until I get the fishing rod. Fish until harvest, sell everything and buy all the kale I can afford, plant them and spend the rest of the days before the egg festival in the mines. After the festival I start playing the game.

I usually plant the 15 parsnips because of the scarecrow recipe for farming level 1. But then I spend the starting g and whatever extra I make before Pierre closes (from extra forgeables or donating an artifact) on one of each CC crop and the rest on potatoes. Potatoes have better return on investment than anything else at that point, and they're cheap enough that it's not as devastating if a crow eats one.

You could sell a couple for 10g each if you get carrot seeds because they have the same exp as parsnips but carrot seeds sell for 15g, but they're done a day faster and the energy is better...

Potatoes do have a better return on investment per plant both because of the difference in growth speed, parsnips actually give you a better return if you replant all profits. This is because the growth cycle makes your plot grow much much faster with parsnips.

That assumes that your plot keeps growing all season ofc.

Plant them for them. Let them grow. Do almost all of the community center while fishing for money and mining for upgrades. When I only have the money portion of the community center left, sell my soul to joja for some sweet autopetters.

I’m playing for the friendship and romance hearts so I’d probably plant the seeds. Not optimizing for gold

I plant only a few parsnips because i want to immediately buy beans and cauliflower and max the number of harvests i can get with them. Since there's a bundle asking for 5 gold-quality parsnips, it makes sense to plant them after gaining some xp and creating basic fertiliser imo.

You can get 8 cauliflower seeds for them? :O I always plant them and go fishing to make money for more seeds
