General community for news/discussion in the UK.

Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.

Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

The leopards: "Yes we had brexit, but what about second brexit?"

You know, one from reality itself.

Do they think they are somehow not included in the people that Reform and Restore hate?

Yusuf is the party leader and he supports policies that if implemented would result in his own deportation. Brings enough a hallmark of the hard right.

Just like all the immigrants who supported Trump only to be locked away or shipped off to God knows where. Naive people are never in short supply.

If these people don't want to live in the UK they are absolutely free to return to their parents country of origin which I suspect they will also not like.

Anyone supporting Nigel Farage is an idiot but a non-caucasian foreign national doing it is beyond stupid and well into padded cell territory.

Ok so I've actually just read the article in full and she's got indefinitely leave to remain, yet supports reform explicitly because of their desire to remove indefinite leave to remain.

If she wants to shoot herself in the foot I don't understand why she has to involve the rest of us. Her parents must be so proud.

Thinks reform will stop with Muslims, has book out talking about the end of the Tories, very obvious grift.

News flash love. Reform voters dont like brown people.

If they get into power you'll be on their list.
