What is Cyberpunk?
Cyberpunk is a science-fiction sub-genre dealing with the integration of society and technology in dystopian settings. Often referred to as “low-life and high tech,” Cyberpunk stories deal with outsiders (punks) who fight against the oppressors in society (usually mega corporations that control everything) via technological means (cyber). If the punks aren’t actively fighting against a megacorp, they’re still dealing with living in a world completely dependent on high technology.
Cyberpunk characteristics include:
- Dystopian city setting where mega-corporations rule
- Full integration of technology into society, featuring cybernetic implants
- Outsider protagonists (punks) who often are very familiar with the technology around them
- Hard boiled detective and film noir vibes and influence
- Themes dabbling in trans-humanism, existentialism, and what it means to be human.

It's probably downvoted for being a link with zero explanation of what it is too.
It's a twenty-minute video with a dozen voice actors. I'm not sure it deserves the same downvote-bait label as some image.
Not declaring it is just going to rage people if they click it without warning.
You're not wrong to make a case it's art, has a lot of human effort etc but that case is far stronger when you also warn people it's AI up front.

The worst side effect of this technology is all the keyboard philosophers who suddenly declare the true nature of art, because nuh uh this new thing doesn't count. Never ever. They rendered the visual medium wrong, so there's no story or message. It's an un-text! It cannot be judged, except to parrot a four-letter excuse not to think about it.
A) Are you implying that you can only draw a stick figure with a pencil?
B) And nah, the worse side effect of this technology is that any grifter can make useless slop like this with it and continue to clog up the internet.

No need to distinguish billionaires promising nonsense, versus interested randos using high technology to tell a story. That story's not a story, if it's depicted this way!
