Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.

Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.

This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Rules

  1. If you post images with text, endeavour to provide the alt-text

  2. If the image is a crosspost from an OP, Provide the source.

  3. Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

  4. Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

  5. No bigotry whatsoever. See instance rules.

  6. This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

  7. No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

1 is much smaller than 2700 billion; the choice is obvious

/s if it wasnt clear

But the billionaires are the ones at the controls.

[–] A404@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 10 hours ago

Let's change that.

Brian Thompson wasn't a billionaire.

Who cares? He deserved it as well. As does whomever replaced him. And the guy after that too.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world -1 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

If you're going after billionaires, it helps not to miss.

[–] Luminous5481@anarchist.nexus 4 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

when they went after the nazis, they didn't just round up the SS. they went after and executed the nazi collaborators.

anyone who gleefully supports or defends the capitalists is also a valid target in the class war and should be murdered.

they

Who is "they"?

anyone who gleefully supports or defends the capitalists is also a valid target

Aiming for Bill Gates and shooting his butler won't change anything.

Who is “they”?

you know exactly what I meant.

Aiming for Bill Gates and shooting his butler won’t change anything.

Brian Thompson wasn't a butler, and you know it. he was a shitstain that bragged about the record number of denials that happened under his leadership. he murdered people by the thousands by denying them lifesaving care for profit. if that's the kind of person you want to defend, then why are you even here in this comm?

[–] Doc_Crankenstein@slrpnk.net 1 points 16 hours ago

Only because we let them have control.

[–] taiyang@lemmy.world 6 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

You know my choice but can I also reverse it and go over the billionaires twice more at least? Just to be sure.

The tracks merge and the billionaires are at the other end so they get hit regardless.

There was a show a decade or so back called Terra Nova. In it, the billionaires polluted the planet to the point people couldn't go outside without a filter mask. The billionaires all lived in arcologies with breathable air, living trees, fresh water, and artificial suns providing light. The billionaires aren't in this with us. Even if the world turns Mad Max, they'll be living in utopian sanctuaries, defended by their personal armies.

That is, unless we murder them all.

Killing them wont solve the problem tho. They would just get replaced by a relative. :<

[–] ViceroTempus@lemmy.world 1 points 45 minutes ago* (last edited 44 minutes ago)

It may not solve THE problem, but it does solve a lot of problems that get in the way of solving THE problem. Billionaires pollute in excess, starve people through fraud and wage theft, corrupt our governments, and often traffic children for depraved and horrific things. And if we include the richest 1% of the past in this same class, our planet is burning because they buried the knowledge of what oil was doing to our planet.

Let's not kid ourselves, killing the billionaire class solves lots of problems, and it's completely justified.

[–] Luminous5481@anarchist.nexus 1 points 4 hours ago

Kill them too.
