I played it with mods that forced me to construct everything from scratch. Super-enjoyable that way; created a multi-system logistics network that moved all raw goods to a single planet, than created a massive manufacturing base. Got bored and just played Satisfactory, which is apparently all I wanted anyway. Also, Eve online is way cooler.

Before I lost interest I remember the one thing about this game that sucked more than anything else for me was the inventory system. Obviously you had limited weight in your character, but even the chests in your base had limited inventory. It just meant that I would always end up dumping all my shit into that one container near the beginning of the game that had no limit. So the entire concept of building a neat base was lost to me, Mr Loot E. Goblin.

I personally don't understand how people play RPGs no console. I don't mean this in an arrogant or aggressive manner, back in the day (most of 2000s) consoles completey fucked the PC game market.

These days it's irrelevant, the market is so huge that one can play tons of unique PC only RPGs and it doesn't matter what Obsidian or Bethesda are doing.

In context of RPG, consoles make it difficult to have skills systems, include text, allow modding (I still play Fallout 1/2 and Arcanum every few years, more than a quarter of a century later) and do result in UI/UX inefficiency which in turn limits themes and approaches that can be used in world building.

One just has to at VTMB 1 (computer focused) and VTMB (cross platform, but UI is console based and game design was console focused).

Simple answer. Because they dont think about those things or care about them.

Enhanced mode with a 40fps target (that dropped noticeably when using vehicles) or the Performance mode with a 60fps target

Having now spent nearly 40 hours with Starfield on PS5 and PS5 Pro, this is definitely the best Starfield has been

Lol k

Honestly asking, does the update make it more enjoyable/immersive? Loading screens killed it for me when it first came out but I enjoyed the leveling system. Lmk, I'm curious.

you no longer just go to a loading screen when going to a new planet in the same solar system

you still do if youre going outside the solar system you are in though

also, pois wont repeat like ever
