Grifters always know when it's time to shift the grift. this is what's currently happening. expect more right-wing talking heads coming out to say the same.
the conservative propaganda wing (and the majority of american politicians) is in it for the grift before anything else, they follow the tide. If they can oust trump withoit being killed by the MAGA base they will...because Vance with do what the oligarchs want even more consistently than Trump. the war won't end, but they can pretend to be putting out trump/hegseths mistake instead of just continuing their own
They need someone to continue the movie before trump dies and everyone fights to take the reins
I wonder which exact moment he realized the deep state puppet masters were also his masters. As a guy whose whole shtick was calling out corruption and conspiracy, he had a choice a long time ago to reconcile this, if he weren't so consumed by the attention and money idiots gave him
My bet is that he’s known the entire time, but just says whatever he thinks is most profitable in the moment.
As an avid Knowledge Fight listener, I can assure you that Jones indeed has known the entire time. When Trump first started gaining steam in 2016, Jones correctly called Trump a mobster. Roger Stone eventually convinced Jones to get on board, presumably with the promise of access. It’s been pretty clear that Jones has regretted that decision for most of the past decade because it completely fucked up his grift.

Incorrect. He doesn't think. He just says whatever his benefactors tell him and they sign a check.
I think he might have had some true convictions a long time ago, but the almighty dollar wins the hearts and minds of these guys
