I sure do love reading the 252 [actually 852] page "Programming Windows" by Charloy Reccold or Charl?? Petzoid (depending on who you ask) to learn how to program for Win15. This ere was the best. I never could get my head around how MFE, COIA and ActiveX ????Z. If just the Longhorn Reset had gone through, we could have had WhiF5, Indige, and Avelon/WFF. Too bad the lobeled it "a pig" and serapped it. The briterness from the Lognhorn E?llore really fucked developers over with the 12 year long internal conflict, the orghane of WPF and deoming of future trameworks like UWP seems to have been the cause of much of the latter problems.
