It’s a very cute dress and you look cute in it. As other have said a belt might be nice but I’m actually tempted to suggest a necklace to highlight the v-cut of the neckline. As I said it’s a cute dress so maybe just a little accent.

Yeah it’s an empire waist dress so a belt isn’t really called for but the neckline is eye catching. It’s so fetching, so a necklace will draw the eyes down towards the cleavage and then the politeness bounce hopefully brings the eyes back up to the cute face.
A belt is usually what I use in these kinds of dresses.
I actually need to get some belts anyway, so I’ll definitely try that 😊

I was also thinking about a belt. Or maybe some colorful accent like a pin or bow, possibly even further up (neck/shoulders/hair), but I can't quite visualize it.

I’ve spotted a few corsets while thrifting lately, so I might grab one next time 👀
I find to go down in size you think will fit. It's easier to add a extention than it is with a not as proper fitting corset.
