This is a community for discussion, news, and memes pertaining to the video game sub-genre "soulslike".

Given Lemmy's size, the definition of soulslike may be treated relatively loosely. While games like the numerous FromSoft titles, the recent Star Wars Jedi games, Lies of P, Nioh and similar games should be the focus, games that incorporate soulslike elements - like Hollow Knight and Blasphemous, for example - may also be discussed here.

More exquisite corpses (desperate-need-of-a-shower edition) (kbin.earth)

The topic of the exquisite corpses came up in the c/soulslike discord server (link, come say hi), and as such a couple more have been completed. Here, we have the Saint of Demiscunus (head by GrantUsEyes, body by eezeebee, and legs by me) and the Festering Mound (head by eezeebee, body by OptimusCrimes, legs by me). I actually think these two look like the would be different phases of the same boss. You fight the mount first, and the saint's head and limbs emerge from it in a mid-fight cutscene

The private room is still up if you wish to join! We have one corpse needing legs, and another needing legs and a body. This post has info on how to draw your own

I've noticed that posts without images don't get the attention they deserve 👀 show the goods! Well maybe just one ;) both of these turned out pretty cool
