I remember when he released the track 'New'. I was surprised at how good it was. A bittersweet, nostalgic love song that was catchy.

I love the Beatles but only know a handful of Wings tracks. I recently discovered the song 'Nineteen Hundred and Eight Five'. Definitely worth a listen if you want to hear him at his post-beatles peak.

I saw him live within the last decade and it was a weird experience. He talked about Jimi Hendrix and the rest of the Beatles as if they all hung out recently. He was also funny and entertaining.

That’s fair. Despite their innovations, they were really poppy. That’s certainly not for everyone.

I don't hate on them I just dislike their stuff. Doesn't help my music theory teacher in high school spent hours teaching us their formula and how it was basically just add a 7th and you're the Beatles lol. It was obviously more complex than that but it's been 30 years.
