So when you receive a call from a friend or family member, you’re greeted by something more visually interesting than the generic incoming call screen.

??? Displaying caller's photo (from your contact list) has been standard functionality since... a long time ago. What is this trying to achieve?

The image is full screen, very innovative /s

Apparently you can also force your chosen image on other people's devices when you call them.

My ex-wife's contact keeps updating itself to a "glamour shot" she took of herself. Not really something I want to see. I just deleted her email address from her contact card in my phone and then deleted the picture. No issues since.

I thought that was already a thing, too, though. I've had contacts with pictures that I never set for them for quite a while now.
