Witch.

You know there was a time in our country's history where something like that cost you the presidency altogether.

I reckon the vast majority of the voters base won't even notice.

[–] EmpathicVagrant@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

I am please to report it was at least noticed.

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 2 points 4 hours ago

The dotard continues to mull but he then blurts out these mulling's as fact on his internet walkie-talkie. People all over the world on all sides listen to trumps internet walkie-talkie.

Is this AI?

Makes me think of when I used to give my kids a countdown ultimatum. "You better do it in 3, 2.... 1 & 1/2.... 1 & 1/4..."

For those of you yet to have kids, the secret is to count up and every number escalates the penalty, that way they also don't know when you'll stop counting and takes away the boundary they're pushing. (This is not professional advice and i take no responsibility for your future childs trauma )

He remembers it happened just not sure if he dreamed it or not.

Iran: WTF are you talking about!?

[–] hperrin@lemmy.ca 43 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (4 children)

“WITCH”

That’s how you know it’s Trump. He’s a fucking moron.

[–] IratePirate@feddit.org 9 points 21 hours ago

That, and the commas. If only punctuation and spelling were the only things he raped...

[–] Klear@quokk.au 2 points 17 hours ago

I AM PLEASE!

[–] ZoteTheMighty@lemmy.zip 1 points 15 hours ago

Literally too dumb to be fake.

[–] marine_mustang@sh.itjust.works 75 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Meanwhile, Iran is like “what talks?” and I believe them more than Trump.

[–] notwhoyouthink@lemmy.zip 24 points 23 hours ago

They’re calling for what it is, market manipulation.

Conversations that are so obviously very real and also everyone was clapping and cheering. Thank you, Mister President Trump - LIBERATION DAY 2.0 - I BELIEVE.

WE'VE POSTPONED SOME OF THE WAR CRIMES BECAUSE OF THE BEAUTIFUL IRANIAN DIPLOMACY AND MAKE AMERICA GRATE.

[–] bunkyprewster@startrek.website 34 points 1 day ago (4 children)

I know we are used to it by now, but the ALL CAPS seems increasingly crazy.

[–] witty_username@feddit.nl 21 points 1 day ago

Most loud is most truthest. Tremendous truthest, in fact

[–] AlecSadler@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 23 hours ago

It's how a lot of his followers post on Facebook and shit, so I presume it's for them

[–] voidsignal@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

racist old man has caps lock on.

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 39 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He is running for cover alright but the entire "conversations" are completely made up

[–] Zagam@piefed.social 13 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It sort of depends on how you define "talks" and "conversation". If you define them as a communication method of mumbling incoherently to yourself while lackies mop you off after another diaper failure, sure.

[–] humanspiral@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Negotiations were "We will bomb power infrastructure". Response: "Here is exact GCC infrastructure we will destroy in response."

[–] marcos@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Iran has responded that through the press. People in both the US and Iran governments are all saying that no Iranian representative is answering any US call.

What makes "based on the tenor, and tone of those in depth, detailed, and constructive conversations" all the funnier. Also, who the fuck wrote that? It certainly wasn't Trump.

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

They probably ~~write~~slop-up all their press releases before anything has happened and Trump doesn’t know to wait.

[–] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 1 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Which in turn makes the typo even funnier. Did they train it on trump tweets and it learned to include spelling mistakes? Did they decide people wouldn’t believe it was him without errors and swap it in?

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 1 points 18 hours ago

Train it!? These people probably don’t even pay for standard services.

[–] sad_detective_man@sopuli.xyz 22 points 1 day ago

Whenever they repost his tweets on r/conservative they always correct his spelling in the transcript.

It's funny because they don't post transcripts for any other screenshotted images, just his

I read this tweet with the sound of Will Ferrell's "Voice Immodulation Disorder" character in my head.

[–] renzhexiangjiao@piefed.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 day ago (2 children)

[–] Supervisor194@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

are you new to this timeline?

no, I guess I never bothered to read his gibberish closely

[–] IndignantIguana@piefed.social 0 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

Really? Chickened out? Are you hoping for the collapse of the entire global economy? Food shortages? Is that what having conviction looks like? This is the first even slightly hopeful sign I've seen in this whole shit show. A better title would be 'Trump finally tries to pull back from armageddon'

[–] DragonAce@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

He chickened out because the whole post is a fucking lie. He never spoke to anyone, he just decided hes done with the war in Iran because the other countries were mean to him and refused to help. So hes doing is typical routine of throwing a temper tantrum and then taking his ball and going home.

[–] IndignantIguana@piefed.social 7 points 1 day ago* (last edited 23 hours ago) (1 children)

Of course it's a lie. Everything he says is a lie. But this wasn't because he couldn't find help. This was because the credible Iranian threat of bombing every oil field in the middle east was enough to get someone (the US oligarchs?) to tell him to back off. They know that if the oil stops flowing everything will collapse and they will loose billions. It's always about money in the US. The reaction of the stock markets is what seems to matter most. And honestly I don't care why he's turning around. If he pulled out entirely and said it's because God told him to I'd be delighted. Just stop the madness, please.

Then again, it is also possible this is just the well-worn US/Israeli tactic of "can we have a cease fire to restock our weapon supplies?"

And to my original point, there are countless reasons he's unfit for the job, and a sickening waste of a human being, but any sign of backing away from this disaster is a good thing, not something to criticize.

I think people also don't believe at all that he's actually backing away from this in any way, shape, or form. He'll go ahead and say that he is, and then later this week he'll bomb an orphanage or something and claim that talks with Iran have fallen apart and how unreasonable they're being because he gave them such a great peace deal, blah blah blah, etc.

Just like how he could've ended the war in Ukraine in a week if they had just taken his generous peace deal of ceding a bunch of land to Russia.
