i had an idea, what if there was a website that showed companies that are know to be corrupt or engaged in unethical pratices. this could be a hub to easily show people companies they should not support and why.

Generally these kind of websites turn into companies that take hush money to delete bad reviews, eg glassdoor/yelp

Reopen The Consumerist.

They famously gave EA the "Worst Company of the Year" award, complete with a golden poo. Although that was subjective (there's definitely worse companies), it had an impact.

i guess so, but the point in not to shame, it is so consumers can make informed decisions when chosing a company to support.
