As an italian I've never heard that. People just say the N word (which is literally the word "black" in spanish).
With "zucchina" (eggplant) we usually refer to penis
I have heard it used as a racial slurs once I the film True Romance (1993). It has a scene where Dennis Hopper’s character is explaining to Christopher Walken’s character (a Sicilian) how he’s “part eggplant” due to the fact that the Moors conquered Sicily in the past.

I'm coming from a US centric place, but I'm pretty sure the N word is generally used to mean a very specific word which is notably not the Spanish word for black. Do people call the Spanish word the N word too in other countries?
I've never heard "melanzana" being used as a slur for black people, are you confusing it with "fennel" being a slur for gay men or is that a regional thing?

There is so much to unpack here. But long story short, this is racist cuckoldry fetish.
The strawberries are a white couple, the eggplant is black man. The eggplant being an emoji commonly used to refer to a dick is, of course, the black man because white supremacists are obsessed with the idea that black men have superior penises for some reason.
I'm not joking by the way. It's fucking crazy how often this comes up when you actually hear what these people have to say when they're talking in private. It always comes up! It always comes down to this. Most of the Great Replacement conspiracy theory is about this specifically. "The superior masculinity of black and brown males compared to the more and more feminized white males, will make them more desirable to white female."
The white men fear of having black and brown men fucking their white wives actually has historical precedent. I know I sound fucking insane if you have no idea what I'm talking about, but you can look this up, it has actual historical precedent. It's a real thing and once you start seeing it from that angle a lot of the weird and unhinged racist rants start to make a lot more "sense" if you take it from the point of view of a sexual insecurity, not to say that it's just this, don't get me wrong, there is a lot more to this, but it is a surprisingly big part of it.
Of course, obvious disclaimer, that this is all bullshit. None of this is based in reality, but that's racists for you.
And I am willing to bet that if you look for more content made by this account, you will find a lot more of this shit that resonates with the same themes I just brought up. And same thing if you can see who is behind this account. I guarantee you it's a white guy with a Twitter account on which he talks about great replacement type shit.
In what world does this need to exist? And if it does, it could have been a single frame comic.
