Looking up words while you read is cool and good. It was the most exciting feature of my e-reader when I first got it.
videos
Breadtube if it didn't suck.
Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.
Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.
There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.
A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.
Yeah exactly, it's how you learn!

I should point out that the people making fun of him for looking up words is presented as a toxic thing in the video
My first thought when I saw this
Like no really. A good sign on whether or not someone is worth respecting is how they confront anything they do not know. The ultimate green flag is thinking “hmm, I don’t know this word. I’ll go look it up and understand.”
men don't read
More gender affirmation!
I swear one of the most prominent suggestions in school is to read a book and learn new vocabulary, did men at some point decide learning is unmasculine?
I feel bad for whoever is stuck within these groups, it must feel suffocating if you realise what they believe in
The Kai stuff is a counterexample to the article on the top left. Man is streaming his self improvement.
Yeah, Kav has a way to go but he's on the right track.
Yup I clarified in a comment below:

"Literacy” was always the most basic tool of totalitarian propaganda. If you are not literate you can't be fed communist propaganda. The most steadfast anti-communist I knew in my childhood was my maternal grandfather who was illiterate.
Communist propaganda did not reach him
How am I supposed to read all of the text of the left wing memes otherwise?
