I don't think we deserve "dignified".
Don't worry. When they finally build the intergalactic bypass, our deaths might no be dignified, but they'll be quick.
Really? Not cats? They can bathe themselves and hide their own leavings.
Cats are the aliens assessing us for galactic ascension.
Unfortunately, when the aliens attempted to pick them up, they turned cat-liquid and slid away.
My cat turns into a running chainsaw with no handle when you pick him up.
They should instead have made a container for the cats to fit their liquidity into. After all, "if I fits, I sits" is an axiom. (That said, cats never follow the rules so...:-P)
