I feel like the world needs to see this liar get convicted. We all need assurance that we are not, in fact, living in a total dystopia where his gaslighting goes completely unpunished in perpetuity.

We need Trump to be convicted and seriously punished as a deterrent. There must be extreme consequences for attempting to falsely overturn an election. If the worst outcome is loss of the election, more bad actors will do the same as Trump - and worse. This is a “line in the sand” moment for America.
Convicting Trump shouldn’t be the end. It will simply motivate his troops.
Get the truth out. Make it clear that even Trump knows that the election wasn’t rigged. That there was no « steal ». That he trued a coup, not tried to make things right.
Trump in prison is a byproduct of that. If we truly want to start fighting against the raise of facism, we need people to band together against it. We all need to set aside the liberal vs conservatives fight, and push against facism and dictatorship. Because once the US falls, forget the small fights about public services and worker’s rights. That won’t be on anyone’s radar.
The steal was stopped by those who refused to participate in his conspiracy to steal the election.
