One year after Elon Musk began an unprecedented attempt to eliminate swaths of the federal government, newly released deposition videos are providing a never-before-seen look at two of the people responsible for the largest mass termination of federal grants in the National Endowment for the Humanities' history.

According to the depositions and other materials released as part of a civil lawsuit related to the funding cuts, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) relied on ChatGPT to identify more than $100 million in grants related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) that were later cancelled.

When Donald Trump returned to office last January, he empowered Musk to slash federal spending as a lead adviser in the newly created DOGE. Within days, all agencies were directed to put DEI staff on leave and related programs were shuttered.

None of those doge boys even had college degrees.

Their wasn't nothing in their head to begin with. That's why they were hired.

Incapable of independent thought.

The lack of empathy and humanity is a dangerous reminder of who was running the death camps in Nazi era Europe.

If you haven't seen the signs that history is repeating itself then I'm not sure there is any sign of recovery for the U.S.

Of course there is a sign of recovery. Germany recovered from their nazi problem... eventually...

No it did not! Germany was conquered by external forces and had their Nazis exterminated (not all of them, but "enough").

In contrast, nobody's coming to save us.

had their Nazis exterminated (not all of them, but “enough”)

Did they though?

There were 177 defendants at the Nuremberg and other trials, 142 were convicted and 25 sentenced to death. But the The Office of Chief Counsel for War Crimes had identified 2,500 major war criminals, and the United States forces arrested almost 100,000 Germans as war criminals.

Even if we assume that 2500 number is truly the number of major war criminals responsible for the genocide and enslavement of millions, that comes out to a 5.68% (142/2500) conviction rate, and 1% death rate (not all 25 died by execution).

It seems unlikely that the genocide and enslavement of over 10 million people was the responsibility of only 142 people, let alone 25.

What happened to the rest of them? Many of them used the Ratlines. Germany may never have recovered from it's Nazi problem, it may simply have exported some of it.

link doesn't work. But I swear, these punks are some of the most loathsome pieces of shit I can think of.

I sure hope that some consequences are coming their way.

Everyone at DOGE, Musk especially should face real justice by their own peers. The old school way.
