Using sophisticated brain imaging techniques, the team observed that cells from individuals suffering from depression exhibited elevated ATP production at rest compared to healthy participants. However, when subjected to increased energy demands, these cells showed a diminished ability to raise ATP levels further.

So we were right all along: never leaving the bed again is the answer.

So did the mice in this study also get cured of whatever depression is?

Mice are gaining all sorts of things like growing an ear, a tooth, brain to computer chip control, gut to brain biome age reversal, Alzheimer's reversal etc etc.

Lucky bustards. The rest of us have to wait until pedo approves worm brains to let scientists start human trials.
