I really hope Iran can achieve meaningful refine change, but I worry the US just killed all inertia and progress towards that.

The US isn't looking for a regime that's better for the Iranian people, they're looking for another dictator that kowtows to trump. Someone who is a yes man. The Israeli war in Iran has the goal of killing progress.
