The more I work in corporate the more I realize the people who do the least complaining are usually doing unnecessary work that doesn't need to be done in the first place and are too scared or stupid to question it

many such cases

This is selective perception. Most of us slackers know that we'll have an easier time getting by without working by not making a fuss.

Sometimes you need complainers for the company to actually do things that need to be done.

Complaining is how we got new laptops we genuinely needed for our work tasks recently. Complaining ftw.

"I can't get any work done because the building is on fire and there's bees.

"Maybe if you stopped complaining..."

When I worked at a TV station as an engineer (over a decade ago), I regularly had to dealmwith fucking bees living in the sattelite LNBs.

This usually involved spraying an entire can of bee killet spray at the LNB then running inside for the rest of the week.

Why aren't the bees allowed to live in the satellite?

They interfere with the signal to the point of killing the signal.

Very cool, thank for sharing.

Could someone have built a decoy LNB for the bees?

You know, that may have been a useful idea for the old ones we had replaced. Just mount them around the sat yard on poles.

And you get free bees.

This is slander, I very quietly do the least amount of work.

Doing a lot of work and getting a lot of/important things done are not the same

They are pulling a Costanza. If you look annoyed all the time, people will think you’re busy.

This works. I’ve done it and seen people do it and it’s really effective if it’s not a constant state.

We're all closer to being dirt poor than being the ultra wealthy. Don't attack your fellow workers (even if they're not contributing much), attack the system keeping everyone down

Doing the least work possible for the corporate sound pretty based to me

I'm sensing a lot of complainers in the comments
