t4t - trans for trans = two trans people dating
polycule = polyamory, but not every person is dating each other. For example, in a 4 person polycule, maybe person a, c, and d are romantically together, but person a doesn't date b. Person b ONLY dates person c. Etc.
Some people make memes/jokes about polycules, like "The weakest one of the polycule gets kicked off the island" and stuff like that, or this fascinating Tumblr heritage post (links to RedLib instance) about a polycule commune cult in Portland.
So in this case the OP feels that using NixOS is like being in a polycule with a bunch of trans people, or that it will encourage you to transition and join a polycule.

You forgot to remove the default Testosterone and install the Estrogen package instead.
Went from Windows directly to Arch and I just became an anarchist and (I'd argue) more masculine. Guess it's less about Trans and more about becoming more true to yourself.

It seems like there's some universal truths in the tech industry: trans women use NixOS and code in Rust, and a lot of network admins are furries.

Yeah isn't funny that the joke about Unix/Linux users was they all had bigger beards than lobster fishermen, and now it's that they're all transfem.
Good news for cos men: If you started your journey before 2015, this scale is represented by a 19U beard instead.

This is an aside but why is this the highest quality version of this image I've seen? I swear whenever I see this meme it looks like it's been faxed, scanned, compressed, jammed onto a floppy disk, ripped from the floppy disk, and then posted.

I'm in my EndeavorOS cycle at home right now and neither do I get cuter nor more feminine, is it because my daily driver is still on Mint and my second work-laptop is still a Windows machine that my employer makes me leave on Windows?

Personal: DOS -> Win3.1/95 -> BeOS -> WinXP -> MacOS -> Win10 -> Ubuntu -> Debian
There was definitely some dual booting in there, particularly in the BeOS (to Windows for Games) and Win10 (to Ubuntu for work) eras.
Professional: Debian -> RHEL -> WinXP -> Win7 -> Ubuntu -> gLinux/ChromeOS -> Ubuntu -> MacOS -> Ubuntu -> MacOS/Ubuntu

Why do people seem to dislike mint? I like mint it works with a minnimum of bullshit.
It's a "beginner-friendly" distro so people might subconsciously think you should "graduate" to use something "better".
Which is ridiculous, of course. No reason to switch if it works for you!
I don't know, I installed Mint last year and it's been great.
I don't think it's a dis.Β It's just what people usually recommend to people used to Windows, traditionally at least.Β Because it's familiar and just works.Β
We're still somehow not over the hipstery conceit that anything with mass appeal is inherently flawed.
