Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

So long as they were only attacking Jews and not Israel, it’s not really antisemitism.

There's a doco on the Anti Defamation League that demonstrates exactly that.

[–] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Anti-Semitism but also joining Israel in an illegal war. Choose a fucking lane.

It's about neocolonialism, zionism are the curtains they hide behind. Even back during WWII, Zionists literally signed the Havaara Agreement with literal Nazi Germany, and even though it was far more of a religious movement back then, it was already fairly neocolonial. As a Jew, you either agreed to basically go along with Zionists and their take on things to save some of your wealth, or you would end up losing it all, the writing on the wall was there for all to see before the war.

Right now, religion is still a factor, but they don't mind shitting on Orthodox Jews a lot more, and there's a lot more involvement from evangelical "Christian" US groups. It's basically a neocolonial front using religion as an exercise in gaslighting, involving a lot of rich private interests specially from the US that use the private sector and geopolitics to survive across administrations.

Debt, global economy, trying to recolonize colonized land to supplant it with more malleable economic interests, it's been this for a while.

Pre-war Zionism was extremely secular. Political Zionism has been a largely secular/ethnic movement since its inception in the 19th century.

Israel is currently "one of the good ones", eventually they'll find out.

[–] sin_free_for_00_days@sopuli.xyz 47 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Not really news, it's just another Tuesday for the GOP. Wish they had been raised by better parents.

[–] Fishnoodle@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago (3 children)

So they hate Jews but give Isreal like 25% of US tax revenue?!?

[–] WizardofFrobozz@lemmy.ca 3 points 21 hours ago

Right wing support for Israel has nothing to do with human beings and everything to do with performing their doomsday theology.

[–] Bronzebeard@lemmy.zip 1 points 17 hours ago

The doomsday Christian religious nutjobs believe that the state of Israel needs to exist for the end times to begin. They want to protect Israel so it can be the first place to fall before they get raptured.

[–] FiniteBanjo@feddit.online 27 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yes because they hate Muslims more

[–] arctanthrope@lemmy.world 26 points 1 day ago (1 children)

and because they're doomsday cultists

Cunts are warm and can have rather impressive elastic capacity. These milksops are self entitled bastards, ykow the type who were thrown into combat first so as to cull them.

[–] Mirshe@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Nah, if we're comparing them to feudal failsons, these are the sorts of kids that nobles would send off to become monks. They wouldn't be any good at ruling effectively or really doing much, but they'd be in a monastery and out of the way.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 1 points 23 hours ago

Most of those monks were actually legitimate of otherwise worthwhile enough to keep as backups or political tools. The ones I'm talking about are the bastards who legit had no use outside of dying because they thought having some blue blood made them the greatest thing since Julius Caesar.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 1 points 20 hours ago

American conservatism is a bigot movement. Racism is engrained into the ideology. So this is to be expected.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

It was right in the headline, but even if it wasn't, we could play "guess which party?" before reading further, and it'd be easy to get it right....

[–] billwashere@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I liked it better when racists were afraid to openly speak like this for fear of reprisals or public ridicule. Nowadays it’s almost required to be republican.

[–] Wataba@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 day ago

Someone had better tell them which ethnostate their party is fighting for.

[–] hitstun@feddit.online 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

A chatroom full of prime candidates to get Charlie Kirk'd. I guarantee the world would be better off without them.

[–] PalmTreeIsBestTree@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Hope they all get Kirk’d. Evil bastards deserve nothing less.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I would think this is not a bug, but a feature, when you are in the conservative party.

disseminated by younger GOP activists

It's awfully interesting how the narrative about how the "youth will save us" seems to look more and more ridiculous by the day, and I am really beginning to think the war on the boomers/Silent Generation is orchestrated and being used to further divide. It wasn't the boomers on things like 4chan, it wasn't the boomers trying to "red pill" and "black pill" people.

[–] LibertyLizard@slrpnk.net 6 points 1 day ago (2 children)

It's fascist vs antifascist now. The rest is distractions. There are young and old on both sides of this fight.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

And the young are at risk of being raped by the old. Especially if they get lured to an island by the wealthy.

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world -2 points 1 day ago

Please, the fascist won a long time ago.

There is no opposition.
