Might be a rumor...

What strikes me as a not very legitimate rumor is the NPU requirement. I upgraded to a high end CPU last year and it lacks a NPU. If it becomes a requirement, they'd exclude most of the consumer space. The tpu requirement wasn't that bad as it had been around for a while.

AI will be a focus, though, I guess. Gonna skip 12 if this becomes reality.

"Windows 10 will be the last Windows"

I don't know about you MS, but I'm keeping that promise.

They just missed a word. Windows 10 will be the last usable Windows.

I hope the modular bit means you can have the basic/bare bones OS and then enable these optional 'modular' features, like AI

No, lol. The 'modular' bit means there will be microtransactions in your monthly subscription, so you can be charged for each and every feature you use, as you use it.

Subscription based?

Guess EU will speed up moving to Linux. Good for us :)

Edit: I see that only certain AI features gonna be subscription fee locked, but OS will stay 1 time purchase.
