Good point. Fuck those religious crazies always!

That's temporary. Like a few days temporary. The probability that Iran would be able to block the tankers for a prolonged period of time is not high.

doesnt suck

Engineers are excellent at this. And yes, modern designers are anti-customer. So the end-result ergonomic-wise would be better if done by engineer who by default pro-customer than if done by designer who might be better in theory but in practice just deliberately makes things worse.

If I were a billionaire I would gather engineers to construct a car. But I won't call marketers or designers. Just engineers. Just "make a car that is nice to use and maintain". I might become a trillionaire if I were a billionaire and made such a car.

A place to sell some shitty-grade copper, huh?

You win. That's the dullest thing I saw today. Now print yourself a dull medal (just a plastic disc with inscription) of the dullest pencil holder dull creator.

:)

P.S. It is not as dull as you claim. What is that black ring near the bottom?

I use Debian testing for... 20 years? I had serious problems with it. Twice. Nothing unrepairable, but still I needed another machine with internet to fix the problem. I suppose that is ok stability-wise for 20 years.

Of course. But heat is just a one of many problems. Other problems are still here and not going anywhere. President's wording is disgustingly overly hurray-tier optimistic. I would expect such phrasing from a Berliner of Londoner. Not from somebody who spends most of the time in Ukraine.

It is a Russel's kettle full of hurray-slop. Nothing even to discuss.

If I were Ukraine I would not agree to any terms until spring was close enough to see the fear in the russian’s eyes. If that doesn’t happen, then so be it, crush them. As this war continues it will only get worse for russia, and it won’t do so smoothly and slowly…

Stop writing that nonsense. You're not Ukraine. You never been to Ukraine. You know nothing about Ukraine, its past or future. That hurray-bullshit of yours is disgusting to read. Leave writing such things to people who have some basic idea what is going on.

Winter. And how we "made it through".

[–] username_1@programming.dev 3 points 13 hours ago (10 children)

No, we didn't yet. We have many winters ahead. And summer doesn't magically solve most of the problems. Shit is shit. Now it is just warmer, softer and smellier while a week ago it was cold and stone hard. Not quite an improvement.
