It was so nice seeing how excited she was to be making a video again.

I honestly only watched her videos occasionally and I watched this one the second I saw it pop up. It is really nice to see her working on something even if it had to be something short from her bed.

It was. Glad to see her doing this again

I have been a patron for almost a year now I guess and I never expected to see a video of this sort, probably ever again.

So weird. She fell asleep for like 3 years and then suddenly one day she just got up and went for a walk. Her husband was understandably concerned. Did they ever disclose what her diagnosis was?

She had (and still has) long COVID, which brought on ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome).

She fell asleep for like 3 years

She was continuously asleep for 3 years???

That sir is a coma. Not sleep

[–] M137@lemmy.world 2 points 13 hours ago

She wasn't in a comma, but she also wasn't just asleep for 3 years. Read the other comments here, she didn't have the energy to do anything more than stay in bed to sleep and rest for the vast majority of the time.

Long Covid symptoms I heard

Neutrino astronomy is only just picking up, too! China's JUNO detector came online last year, and the IceCube Detector in Antarctica might have picked up a spectacular one if it turns out not to have been some kind of fluke.
