I absolutely hate the redesign, having the new tab button in the middle makes no sense, the corner is way easier to tap, having the individual tabs be taller makes them take up more space while looking worse and the tab selector takes up the whole screen, so I can't see the tab I was on.

Division by zero also isn't good, it just brings more uncertainty to an already uncertain world.
As someone who holds their phone in their left hand I'm so glad they moved the button away from the bottom right corner.
I get the feeling there should be a setting to change that

Ironfox still has it the old way, their repository should be an option in droidify/f-droid. The redesign is horrible
Ive got Ironfox and just got the new UI update yesterday. The setting to revert it is in a hidden menu
Settings >> about firefox >> tap the logo 5 times to unlock advanced settings >> go back to settings >> secret settings >> disable Tab Manager Enhancements
Thank you. Did not know about this feature... I use fennec fdroid and oddly sometimes I open the app and it's the new UI like the three dot Menu. Is that new? That sucks and goes across the whole bottom of the screen but then I'll close the app. Open it again and it's the old UI... Totally at random. At least now the tabs are always the good version
New update dropped this morning the UI is now the new one consistently... I preferred the old but at least it's not weirdly switching back and forth between them now
And IceRaven similarly but has tab enhancement disabled by default
Is it still possible to switch back to the old one? I really don't see why they feel the need to make this change.
EDIT: Just updated to Fennec 148, and it looks like my reversion to the old menu held. I'm assuming that they'll nuke this option a release or two from now. They should keep both options.
Who knows... It's easier to maintain one version but the fact that it's in the secret options makes me think it'll stay as a toggle
