She didn't seek out this publicity. She and Bill did ask that their testimony be in open court rather than behind closed doors, (don't we all want to hear Bill testify how well Trump sucked his dick?) and she's calling for Congress to do what everyone here wants them to do; hold Trump to account for his crimes against children and women.
For what purpose? Because he's suddenly going to tell the truth? What a waste of time. Even if he walked out on stage and described in detail how he loves to rape children and handed the FBI a binder full of pictures of the children he has raped with descriptions of what he did to each one, there would still be nothing done about it. The Republicans in Congress would say "well have you seen the stock market though?" And the Democrats would say "I knew it! Now if only there was something we could do... But there isn't 😔"
You’re right, we should just let him do whatever he wants. It’s over, we don’t need to catch him lying in front of the world, under oath, on the record, live on CNN. Let’s not even try, what’s the point? He’s just gonna shoot more people on 5th Avenue. He already said he can do whatever he wants and since the stock market is up to 50,000 I guess that means we HAVE to let him, we shouldn’t try to expose his lies and guilt to people who might not be as politically autistic as Lemmy users.

He lies on camera daily. What has that done? What will once more do? Oh, he had to pinky promise it's true this time. Congress are the ones that are supposed to do something about all this and they won't. Can't be bothered. I'm not personally letting him do anything. I didn't vote for him. I've never voted for him. The people I did vote for aren't doing anything. I know that the Internet's response to that is that you have to take matters into your own hands, but let's actually be serious. Say he lies under oath. Then what? He gets impeached again? Investigate Congress because that's why he can do whatever he wants. But that will never happen because they are all in the files that didn't get released.
I bet they wouldn't even be able to finish swearing him in before he started lying.
