Hi, I made a video explaining how to inject Estradiol Enanthate subcutaneously. I know there are guides out there that explain how to do injections but some friends of mine asked me to make a video specifically about E that tried to explain everything in a condensed format. I've been doing SubQ injections for the better part of a year and thought having a guide like this publicly could be useful.
Even though the video is made with EEn in mind, it's applicable to other esters of estradiol as well. The video is also for folks who are questioning if they should change to DIY, to explain how just because it's estradiol in injectable form, it's not "extreme" or "dangerous" as some people mistakenly believe.
The video tries to cover the whole injection process: checking the vial, cleaning the stopper, choosing an injection method, Estradiol Enanthate regimes, and safely disposing of needles, amongst other things. It's around 7 minutes long and every section is chaptered so that you can go back to a specific part. It also has synchronized subtitles for accessibility purposes, created manually with Subtitld.
The video does not cover where to source DIY HRT from, nor does it address if EEn or any other esters are the right path for you. It also does not cover anything related to blood tests.
The reason I do SubQ instead of IM is that it works for me at a personal level and I prefer the shorter and smaller needles. As I explain in the video, each method has its advantages and disadvantages, and you should choose your method according to your individual needs.
If you've never done a self-injection before, I go step by step and try to address concerns like dealing with air bubbles and how the area must be cleaned and properly pinched.
