Short reply in English: I don't understand why we should pay more than the usual user. We already pay 220€ per semester, which equals to roughly around 37€ per month.

As far as I understood the whole thing, the 29 € ticket will be your semester ticket. It's still the solidarity tickez and the contracts are still going to be between your AStA and your local public.transport association

oooh okay, yeah that would be amazing.

I don't understand your criticism, I thought the AstAs are now removing the Semesterticket alltogether because of the 29€ Deutschlandticket?

As far as I understood is the 29 € ticket will still be offered as a solidarity ticket and the contracts are made by the AStAs.

That's the first time I heard about that. Do you have a source?

So you admit it's easier to speak English than it is German? Because you conveyed the same information in fewer words using English.

German: 0

English: 1

Meanwhile there's no rebate for welfare recipients and the amount earmarked for transport doesn't suffice for the ticket. Or, actually, worse: Making it whole-month only and a subscription means that people can't shuffle money around as needed, say, have a ticket for a week to take care of all kinds of things and then spend a week without one. 11.43 Euro for a week, that's easily food for two days. A month without ticket is already 1/4th of a fridge, a whole one (or two) if you buy used.
