MODERATORS
GOG is nice and all, but it's a for profit corporation at the end of the day, and I don't trust corporations not to sell their values down the river when it becomes lucrative for them to do so.
I would far rather support the Internet Archive or something similar.
Yep maybe start a new non-profit if they want to solicit donations.
I give a shit but that doesn't mean I have the money to buy games from anywhere......

I haven't bought a game in years and I don't plan on changing any time soon.
All the time some games are discounted to like two dollars.
I'd be much happier with GoG if they opensourced most of their stuff and supported stuff like Stop Killing Games.
For now, I buy games from them and backup the installers, but until they become more open, especially towards Linux, and stop using shit like Discord, my support will just be in the form of shopping for games I want. Nothing more.

Thanks. The instance was having issues with the media hosting platform so it's in the middle of changing it, but the images should be back in a few days according to the announcement.
