That's a surprisingly cute photo of a common vampire.
Bats
Bats are cool
Bats are the only true flying mammals. There are over 1,400 species of bats, and they can be found on nearly every part of the planet. Not only are they cute, they are also important...
Studying how bats use echolocation has helped scientists develop navigational aids for the blind. Without bats’ pollination, seed dispersal, and pest control we wouldn’t have bananas, avocados, mangoes, agave, or cacao… that’s right, bats bring us tequila and chocolate!

It's weird watching them bounce around chasing cattles' feet.
I clicked thinking the treadmill video would be adorable and left thinking it’d make good motion capture for a horror game.
I have 100% seen dragons run like this in video games.

So? I can run way faster than that
Oh but can you also fly?
Very creepy. I like it.
For how long, though?
So there is a Facebook post claiming they can do it for up to 90 minutes but there is no source provided, and I HIGHLY doubt that it’s true.
The original paper that established this speed did not mention endurance. Here it is: https://www.noctilio.com/pdfs/Riskin_and_Hermanson_2005.pdf
so it’s possible they could even run up to 91 minutes then
92, even
