I am so depressed, I don't even start projects anymore. I mostly just sit around doing nothing all day.

Same. At least other people do things and film it so i can watch.

Life can be a real bastard, I'm sorry you've been struggling. The thoughts of a stranger probably aren't very comforting, but I hope things get better for you. I hate that the system so often robs us of the energy needed to create beautiful things.

I feel seen. I usually come back around eventually. Got a desoldering station and microscope for xmas and that let me finish a few projects so far this year.

Yeah, I would've rather put this into the ADHD corner...

Techy trait for sure, autism, I dunno. Good question. I circle back, it raises the important things.

Start, obsess, grow jaded, shelve, pick up a year later. Rinse and repeat. The needle does technically move forward

I'm in this post and I don't like it

Is what I'd say if I had a partner.

I don't even have time for projects.

I need to self study for career reasons but I don't have time because I'm overworked.

I almost want to quit but the economy is the worst I've ever dealt with to the point where people are coming to me asking for referrals and I know I have 0 chance on the job market right now. see: I have to study

That's me a lot of the time... but some things I actually do get done. For example, I'm working on a book I'm reading for LibriVox, and plan to finish it soon.

I'm letting them cook for later. I'm sure I'll circle around in the next 4-6 years
