Apparently not everyone has these. I learned about them on an AskReddit thread many years ago. The title of the post was something like "what's something about people's body that they probably don't know?"
I showed the comment about this to my wife and she found she has them. She was so freaked out by their presence that I've refused ever since to find out whether I do.
Human bodies are weird! Tongue things, ear lobes are weird, some people can smell ants! There's so many more!

I have these! Plus I've got a bony lump on the roof of my mouth. Like half a small golf ball or half a large marble at the back of my hard palate, right before my soft palate. I always thought everyone had it, but a few years ago I learned it's rare. More common in certain genotypes, most people in my family have it.

Used to ask what these were as a kid when I found them on my tongue. Nobody knew what I was talking about and I just assumed it was adults being stupid like usual. Guess I was right.

I've got a couple of these dangly boys. Hurt like hell when they get caught inbetween teeth.
I also stretched out my tongue's frenulum while in high school resulting in me being able to stick my tongue into my nasal cavity.
